#AskAgent Sep 23-24, 2023

This past weekend (Sep 23-24, 2023), I hosted an #AskAgent session on my Instagram account and got some great questions! Here are the screenshots as taken from my stories. (Click image to view.)

A screenshot of a photo of Kat smiling with teeth and the sunlight hitting her long, wavy, blonde hair. Text: I’ll do an #AskAgent session as long as this story is up this weekend. What would you like to know about writing/querying/traditional publishing? And a question bubble saying “Ask me a question” with a space to enter a question. (This session is on Instagram this time.)

Thanks to those who participated and/or shared! Watch my socials for when the next #AskAgent session will be!

    1. There’s lots of information out there! The key is to research agents and their agencies to ensure they’re legitimate. Check out Query Tracker, Manuscript Wishlist, Jericho Writers, the agent’s own websites and social media accounts, and Writer Beware to be informed of scams. Once you decide which agents are a good fit for you and your work, ensure you follow their submission guidelines to query them.
