Nadezh Frank

A charcoal-coloured background. The Rights Factory logo at the top middle (small black square with TRF letters in white, red, and neon green). Curved text: New Client Alert! A photo of Nadezh, a light-skinned woman with thick, curly, brown hair in a large bun. She has blue eyes and is looking directly at the camera with a half-smile without teeth. She's wearing a denim-coloured button-down shirt and holding a pen near her face. Text: Handwriting, Nadezh Frank. Regular font, Nadezh is a linguist, photojournalist, photographer, world traveller, and upmarket speculative fiction writer currently living in Switzerland. Welcome to Team Kat, Nadezh! A small black graphic of stacks of books is on either side, at the bottom of the graphic.

If lives were paintings, Nadezh Frank’s would be a Jackson Pollock—a constellation of linguistics, photojournalism, fashion, and philosophy spread across continents. From Moscow to London, Paris to New Orleans, Prague to Munich and Zurich, her global perspective shapes her work. After years capturing visual narratives, Nadezh transitioned to creative writing, channeling her photographer’s eye for human complexity into prose and poetry. Fluent in English, French, and Russian, she draws from a rich cultural background to shape her artistic vision.

Nadezh often compares creativity to a garden where the seed of conceptual thought is nourished by the soil of tangible experience. So when she’s not writing her second novel or reading the likes of Alan Watts, you might find her bouldering in the Magic Woods or lending a hand on a local farm.

Her working manuscript, The Benefactor of Snails, explores the intersections of identity, memory, love, and control within an upmarket speculative framework.
