A photo of Brittany, a young light-skinned woman with blue eyes, smiling with teeth. She has dimples and light blonde, shoulder-length hair and is wearing a burgundy top with square neckline. She's standing against a brick backdrop. Text: Handwriting, Brittany Oliver. Regular font, Brittany is a novelist and poet from Ontario, Canada. Welcome to Team Kat and The Rights Factory, Brittany! A small graphic of colourful stacks of books is on either side, tilted inward, at the bottom.

Brittany Oliver lives in Ontario, Canada and has been a storyteller and poet her entire life. She is currently focused on adult fiction novels, but family life will always inspire her to create poetry that others can relate to. She is passionate about women’s healthcare and has witnessed hundreds of birth stories unfold as a registered midwife. Talk about inspiring! Her personal birth poem is published in An Anthology of Canadian Birth Stories.  Brittany’s taste in reading, like her taste in most things, is entirely mood dependent. She loves eerie, dystopian worlds, light-hearted rom coms, and is willing to take a chance on anything in between. When she isn’t catching babies or running after her own, she enjoys nature hikes filled with daydreams, dinners with friends, a good volleyball game, and a glass of wine to wind down the night.
