I recently posted on various social media platforms asking writers how often they’d like to see #AskAgent sessions. If you’ve never seen one, here’s a brief explanation: They’re blocks of time an agent will set aside on social media for a Q&A. Writers will ask writing and publishing questions and the agent will answer as best they can. I always enjoyed these sessions and appreciated the time agents took to interact with writers and answer questions, and now I’m so excited to be able to do it!

How often will I do #AskAgent sessions? I’m not sure… whenever time permits! I would love to say I’ll do them once every (month?), but I can’t yet determine if that’s feasible. What platform will I use? Well, I’m going to rotate it so that people on Twitter/X, Instagram, Threads, and Blue Sky get a chance to participate and learn. I’m _LiteraryKat_ on the first three platforms and literarykat.bsky.social on Blue Sky.

I also mentioned that I’m considering either posting transcripts or screenshots of the threads/stories so the Q&A’s are easily accessible and everyone can learn from them, even if they missed the original session.
